破賭場抓到流亡3年通緝犯

員警在查證賭客成分時，發現廖姓賭客竟為槍砲通緝犯，隨行將他上銬逮捕，並移請地檢署偵辦，經查廖姓賭客遭通緝後逃亡近三年，想不到這次因為前去賭錢，遭到警方查緝到案。

霧峰警分局接獲民眾檢舉，在霧峰區透天厝思疑有群聚賭錢，員警先在透天厝外查訪蒐證，發現透天厝四周停有多部汽機車，且有多位民眾前後進入，現場門窗緊閉，不時傳出吵雜聲，研判該民宅為職業賭場可能性極大。
